Job summary

Hawaiian Electric seeks a professional to join the CER Operations team to lead process improvements, maintain CER policies, and conduct data audits. You will gather requirements, develop work plans, and deliver solutions supporting business goals and regulatory compliance.

You will also coordinate data reporting, support new programs and tools, and participate in emergency response activities as needed. A bachelor’s degree and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and best practices to achieve operational excellence.
• Experience with data analysis, process management, project management, and change management.
• Familiarity with databases, simulation models, and tracking systems.
• Strong proficiency with MS Access/Excel/BI tools and collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of CER operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead CER process developments and improvements by analyzing and reviewing business procedures to reduce inefficiencies and risks.
• Gather requirements to prepare work plans and deliver solutions.
• Monitor adopted solutions and provide training after implementation.
• Maintain CER business policies, processes, procedures, and knowledge documents.
• Perform process and data audits to ensure tariff rule compliance and provide data-driven insights.
• Support development, testing, and implementation of new CER programs and tools.
• Prepare and coordinate scheduled data reports, including ad-hoc requests.
• Participate in emergency response activities as assigned.
