Job summary

Hitachi Energy in the United States seeks a Continuous Improvement and Business Process Specialist to drive process excellence across the Service Unit, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methods. You will design, implement, and sustain enhanced processes, KPIs, and SOPs to boost quality, safety, and profitability while aligning with leadership goals.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, KPI reporting, and evaluating AI-based solutions to raise productivity and reduce costs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, quality management, or related field.
• Experience in operational excellence or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience developing KPIs, process maps, and SOPs.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with MS Office; SAP, Power BI, Power Automate, and AI tools preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with goals.
• Design and deploy new or improved business processes across the organization.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Collaborate with project management, field operations, and leadership to drive improvements.
• Lead adoption of Leadership Standard Work, Daily Management, and KPI reporting.
• Pilot emerging technologies including AI-based solutions to boost productivity and quality.
