Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in process engineering and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Lean methodologies and Kaizen events.
• Proficiency with engineering software for operations and analyses.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Effective communication and problem-solving orientation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate health of assigned areas, including production flow, operator movement, equipment, and area layout.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean methodologies to enhance production area efficiency.
• Attend and lead Kaizen events to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Create and update Work Instructions and Standard Work for assigned areas.
• Identify and complete projects related to CAPEX and cost-out initiatives.
• Act as a liaison for cross-functional teams including production, ITM, maintenance, quality, and procurement.
• Identify and solve problems with balance of urgency and compliance with HSE and quality regulations.
• Perform assignments associated with various engineering activities, ensuring quality and schedule requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
