Job summary

Itape is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader who will drive the Intertape Performance System (IPS) across manufacturing sites. This exempt, salaried role focuses on leading cross-functional CI initiatives, deploying lean tools, and aligning projects with site and corporate objectives.

The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, 5+ years in CI within manufacturing, and proven PM and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering required. Master degree in related field preferred.
• 5+ years of successful continuous improvement experience in manufacturing and demonstrated project management and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required.
• Continuous improvement experience is required; lean manufacturing Six Sigma training preferred.
• Experience deploying 5S, Visual Communication, Value-Stream Mapping, Problem solving tools, etc
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills required.
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
• Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the site leadership team to identify and prioritize high impact initiatives that will provide a step-change improvement within the site.
• Assure execution of continuous improvement projects, supporting project sponsors or process owners in their successful completion.
• Provide site leadership for all continuous improvement activities within all areas of the organization and drive clear linkage of activities to the value stream.
• Implement and maintain a mechanism to sustain the progress as the site gains experience with these methodologies.
• Drive alignment and effectiveness of continuous improvement activities with the corporate strategies, plans and objectives through close coordination with the Corporate IPS CI Pillar Team.
• Lead high impact initiatives incorporating CI principles, value stream approach and VOC; manage change communication at the site level.
• Engage with site and corporate engineering teams to drive process improvement aligned with daily manufacturing needs and strategic goals.
• Any other tasks as assigned
