Job summary

IPG in Bardstown, KY is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive IPS-based process excellence across the site. You will lead cross-functional CI projects, engage engineering teams, and ensure alignment with corporate strategies while mentoring teams and managing change.

The role requires engineering education, 5+ years in CI, and strong leadership and communication skills; travel may be required. This exempt salaried position focuses on delivering measurable improvements in manufacturing

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering preferred; Master degree in related field is a plus.
• 5 years of successful continuous improvement experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required.
• Continuous improvement experience is required; lean manufacturing Six Sigma training preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
• Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Travel as needed, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site leadership to identify high impact initiatives and drive step-change improvements.
• Execute CI projects, support sponsors, and align with site operating goals.
• Provide leadership for CI activities across the organization and link to value stream.
• Sustain progress and integrate new methods into the IPS program.
• Coordinate with Corporate IPS CI Pillar Team to align with strategies.
• Lead high impact initiatives with change management and customer-voice considerations.
• Engage engineering teams to drive process improvements for daily manufacturing needs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
