ITW is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager - Manufacturing Excellence at our Kalkaska, MI site. The role drives CI, quality systems, maintenance reliability, and safety improvements, partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to deliver measurable results.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, aligning CI initiatives with ITW’s Business Model and 80/20 principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or continuous improvement environments.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
• Experience in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Proficiency in data analysis and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
• Develop a site CI roadmap tied to business goals and performance metrics.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and data-driven decisions.
• Implement standardized processes, KPIs, and visual management systems.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve process capability and equipment performance.
• Support audits, quality initiatives, and safety/compliance programs.
