Job summary

DuPont is hiring a Process Equipment Operator to join a three-person process technician team at our Joliet, Illinois site. You will operate areas of the Styrofoam insulation plant, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and support continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to perform basic math. A valid US driver's license is required, and overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Able to perform basic math computations with or without a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned areas of the Styrofoam insulation plant safely and efficiently.
• Interface with process control computers to optimize product quality and equipment operations.
• Perform standard and non-routine testing of product quality; minor maintenance tasks.
