Job summary

PCI is seeking a Process Equipment Maintenance Specialist III (2nd shift) in San Diego to maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade critical process support equipment used in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and aseptic filling operations. You will handle alarms, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and CMMS documentation to ensure use-ready, compliant equipment.

Travel between facilities may be required to support all areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience valued.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills required.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, servos, and reading schematics is essential.
• Solid GMP/aseptic compliance knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and perform emergency repairs.
• Maintain use-ready, compliant process equipment (lyophilizers, autoclaves, SCADA/HMI systems).
• Monitor alarms and implement corrective actions; support upgrades and improvements.
• Author, review, and update maintenance procedures and CMMS records.
