Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) in Pullman, WA is seeking a Process Engineering Technician I to support manufacturing operations on the 3rd shift (Mon-Thurs, 9pm–7:30am). You will help measure yield, improve efficiency, and ensure accurate production processes.

You will document procedures, procure tools, and train operators while applying SEL values and World Class Manufacturing principles. A two-year technical degree or equivalent experience is required, plus familiarity with Windows

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment relevant to the role.
• Basic computer skills including Windows tools (Excel, Word, SQL).
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in measuring yield, efficiency, and capacity of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Document, modify, and maintain manufacturing procedures.
• Manage procurement of assembly process tools.
• Train operators and support staff as needed.
• Learn and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operation, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
