Job summary

Essity North America Inc. is seeking a Process Engineering Technician in Bordentown, NJ to drive production quality, efficiency, and profitability through reliable equipment and optimized processes.

You will execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance while troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The role collaborates with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to implement new technologies, improve manufacturing methods, and support process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with preventive maintenance schedules.
• 1+ years of experience in industrial operations or related technical environment.
• Experience with process optimization and data analysis preferred.
• Skilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate safe work practices and promote a culture of safety.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Set, monitor and improve processes according to Statistical Process Control methodologies.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes and suggest repairs to senior technicians.
• Review and support onsite chemical blending operations to ensure compliance with approved formulations and manufacturing requirements.
• Monitor critical process parameters including mixing times, concentrations, temperatures, and batch yields to ensure product consistency and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning process and manufacturing work systems.
• Help plan work assignments, considering machine capabilities and production schedules.
• Suggest revisions to operation methods, material handling, or equipment layout.
• Maintain necessary documentation and communicate repairs.
• Participate in improvement projects to reduce maintenance costs and failures.
• Work with mechanical and electrical blueprints or drawings.
• Support implementation of new manufacturing technologies, automation, and best practices.
• Support infrastructure optimizations and production planning activities.
• Conduct equipment inspections and root cause analysis of failures.
• Report defects identified during AM/PM reviews
