Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a production support engineer in East Syracuse, NY.

You will contribute to all aspects of manufacturing, including process improvement, equipment preventive maintenance, and problem resolution across multiple areas. You will perform experiments, analyze data, and report results while collaborating with design, project engineering and production teams to keep technical information accurate and current.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering.
• 3-5 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and troubleshoot production problems across multiple manufacturing areas.
• Support continuous improvement activities including Kaizen, 5S, error-proofing, and value stream improvements.
• Assist in installation of new and removal of obsolete equipment with layout, facilities planning and startup validations.
• Perform experiments under guidance including test plans, running experiments, data analysis and reporting.
• Support customer delivery commitments through communication with production teams.
• Dispositions MRB material per procedures with engineering oversight.
• Review drawings of parts and assemblies.
• Collaborate with design, project engineering and manufacturing to keep info updated.
• Instruct/train production personnel on equipment and processes within standard procedures.
• Help write and maintain process and production procedures for products and areas.
• Interact with equipment manufacturers for upgrades, repairs, retrofits.
