Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Process Engineering Technician I in Lewiston, Idaho, to provide immediate technical support to manufacturing and clarify production process specifications for accurate, efficient production.

A typical day includes measuring yield and efficiency, documenting procedures, procuring tools, training operators, and applying SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles. Swing shift 3:00pm–11:30pm.

Competenze

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment relevant to the role.
• Basic computer skills including Windows-based programs (Excel, Word, SQL).
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and work in a team.

Mansioni

• Assist in measuring and improving yield, efficiency, and capacity of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Document, modify, and maintain manufacturing procedures.
• Procure assembly process tools.
• Train operators and support staff.
