Job summary

Corning is seeking a Senior Engineering leader to guide a diverse team of Engineers and Technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities focus on product quality, safety, new technology deployment, capacity expansion, and cost reduction.

You will oversee capital forecasts and drive efficiency while collaborating across Technology, Division Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 3+ years manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience guiding and influencing others.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, clear direction, and mentorship to the Engineering team.
• Champion core engineering principles to ensure operational excellence and rigor.
• Lead capital forecast development for projects including capacity expansion and upgrades.
• Oversee the Ribbon engineering team and ensure timely project execution.
• Collaborate with Technology, Division Engineering, Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Own critical business projects with hands-on leadership.
• Mentor individuals and foster collaboration across the organization.
• Travel up to 10% and support off-shift or weekend needs.
