Job summary

Encore Medical LP is seeking a Manager of Process Engineering in Austin, Texas. You will lead a team to design and develop manufacturing processes for innovative orthopedic products while ensuring efficient design transfer to production.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in process engineering, managing teams, and applying DFM principles. This role requires strong leadership skills and a focus on continuous improvement and lean methodologies.

Applicants must have full-time work authorization in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, BSME, or related Engineering degree.
• At least 10 years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience managing an engineering team.
• Experience with Measurement Systems (CMM, Vision Inspection, Profilometers).
• Experience with GD&T and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of NPI Manufacturing Engineers and technicians.
• Serve as the primary process and manufacturing expert.
• Guide teams to assess process capabilities and implement improvements.
• Write and review validation protocols for new processes.
• Coach Engineers and Technicians.
