Job summary

WACKER is pleased to offer a Summer 2027 College Internship - Process Engineering at our Calvert City, KY site. You will support the engineering team with QA/QC data reviews, downtime analysis, and operating a Spray Dryer facility with hands-on process troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates in Chemical Engineering, with a 3.0+ GPA, familiarity with chemistry, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, preferably Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 3.0 GPA (cumulative).
Familiarity with basic chemistry concepts and Microsoft Office suite.
SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support engineering projects on QA/QC data review and downtime analysis.
Troubleshoot QA/QC issues and process downtime events.
Operate Spray Dryer facility and participate in fieldwork and data reporting to management.
Assist in daily operations and provide hands-on process troubleshooting under supervision.
