Job summary

WACKER is seeking a Summer 2027 College Intern in Process Engineering at our Calvert City, KY site. The role offers hands-on experience in daily QA/QC monitoring, data review, and troubleshooting in a spray-dryer operation.

You will work with the engineering team to support process reliability and performance improvements. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in Chemical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher, familiar with chemistry, and proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate Chemical Engineering program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (cumulative).
• Strong foundation in chemistry and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Daily QA/QC data monitoring and reporting.
• Review QA/QC data and downtime causes.
• Troubleshoot QA/QC and downtime issues.
• Operate Spray Dryer facility on a day-to-day basis.
• Hands-on learning with process upsets and team coordination.
