Olsson in Lincoln or Omaha invites a Summer 2027 student intern to join our Industrial Facilities Engineering and Design team within the Process Engineering group. You will perform meaningful, hands-on work that bridges classroom learning and real-world projects, including planning, design, and evaluation of process systems for diverse industrial applications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
• Coursework or experience with thermodynamics, mass transfer, and chemical reaction kinetics.
• Familiarity with process modeling tools such as Aspen or ChemCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design, and evaluation of process systems for industrial projects.
• Support process calculations, equipment selection, engineering studies, and design deliverables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
