Entegris, Inc. in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Process Engineering Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. The role supports commissioning and qualifying processes and equipment for high-volume production of membrane products for semiconductor and Life Science industries.

You will work hands-on with operators and engineers and collect data to drive process improvements. The ideal candidate is pursuing Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering and will graduate May 2027 or later, with strong

Qualifications

Strong communicator, effective communicating amongst others.
Detail oriented and desire to ask questions to establish a deep understanding of the manufacturing process.
Basic understanding of core mechanical and chemical engineering principles.
Basic understanding of DOE and DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) principles.

Responsibilities

Support equipment testing and commissioning activities of the membrane.
Work hands on with production operators and engineers on the manufacturing floor.
Collect and analyze data such as process parameters, yields, and equipment downtime.
Determine root causes and report to engineering team.
Complete design work and 3D print prototypes, evaluate and improve designs for permanent fixtures.
Assist with experimental trial runs; testing process parameters, gathering samples, and interpreting basic results of key outputs.
Help develop SOPs and document SAT activities.
