Job summary

The Foth Companies in Green Bay, WI seeks a Process Engineering Co-op to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects in industrial facilities. You’ll support process and utility engineering tasks on piping systems, equipment, and facility upgrades.

Based in Green Bay, this Summer-Fall 2027 internship offers hands-on experience with engineering analysis, design, and project execution, with potential travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Preferred: experience with P&IDs.
• Preferred: experience with standard process calculations (pump sizing, valve sizing, fluid flow).
• Preferred: experience with equipment specification and procurement support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field data gathering under the direction of a process engineer.
• Create and maintain clear design documents (P&IDs, equipment plans, piping drawings).
• Assist with CAD in preparation of drawings for process and utility projects.
• Understand, interpret, and develop design and construction specifications.
• Perform standard process system calculations (pump sizing, material and energy balance, fluid flow analysis, valve and instrument sizing).
• Develop equipment lists.
