Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Process Engineering Associate Director to lead the process engineering staff and ensure reliable, compliant equipment and systems for manufacturing bulk drug substance. The role partners to drive the process engineering agenda and align with business priorities.

Responsibilities include administrative leadership, operational excellence, and organizational capability, with an 8‑hour Mon-Fri schedule, travel under 10%, and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering manufacturing experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization.
• Professional Engineer licensure encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach process engineering staff, including performance reviews and development plans.
• Staffing including recruiting, resource planning, and succession planning.
• Process engineering work coordination and coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Review and monitor financial performance; commit to targets.
• Develop and implement the Process Engineering Business Plan.
• Identify, track, and report key indicators; ensure compliance and safety.
