Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking a Process Engineering Associate Director to supervise process engineers and technicians supporting daily operations in manufacturing bulk drug substance. This role drives productivity, compliance, and the technical agenda across the organization.

Responsibilities include leadership of the engineering team, staffing, and coordinating engineering work while ensuring safety, cost targets, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering manufacturing‑related experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization or visas.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach process engineering staff, including performance reviews and development plans.
• Staffing including recruiting, resource planning, and succession planning.
• Review and monitor financial performance, commit to meeting targets.
• Develop and implement the Process Engineering Business Plan.
