W3Global in Boothwyn is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to support extrusion operations on the production floor, driving efficiency and product quality.

You will work closely with operators, Maintenance and Quality to resolve manufacturing challenges, apply root-cause analysis and continuous-improvement methods, and help develop reliable, repeatable processes for ongoing production success.

Competenze

• Experience in thermoplastic extrusion and polymer processing.
• Knowledge of extrusion equipment, tooling, and material properties.
• Familiar with SPC, DOE, Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Provide hands-on engineering and technical support for extrusion operations.
• Evaluate and optimize process parameters to improve quality, stability and efficiency.
• Reduce scrap, improve material yield and throughput, and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot materials, tooling, equipment, temperature, pressure and dimensional stability.
• Apply root-cause analysis and continuous-improvement methods as appropriate.
• Develop, document and maintain operating parameters and procedures.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Quality on equipment and process issues.
• Analyze production data, identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Support equipment installations, process changes and improvement projects.
• Coach operators in process understanding and quality requirements.
• Promote safety, accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
