Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to shape the future of manufacturing in Ames, IA. You will implement and optimize robotics, vision systems, and DC tools while redesigning workflows to boost efficiency and quality on the factory floor.

As an Associate-level professional, you will analyze production data, collaborate with production teams, and lead continuous improvement projects that reduce costs and improve safety and environment standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Agricultural Engineering or Technology.
• Logical and practical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize advanced manufacturing technology, including robotics and vision systems.
• Enhance efficiency by improving workplace design, process flow, and equipment layouts.
• Analyze production data and collaborate with shop floor personnel to solve tooling and process challenges.
• Lead projects to improve current manufacturing methods, driving cost reductions and boosting product quality.
• Champion a culture of safety and quality, ensuring all processes meet our high standards and contribute to a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
