An established industry player is seeking a Process Engineer for their Robotics Certifications team. This exciting role involves ensuring that autonomous robots meet the highest safety standards while maintaining performance and flexibility. This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report primarily to the Opdyke Test facility in Pontiac three times per week on average, or as dictated by the business.

As the Process Engineer - Robotics Certifications in the new Autonomous Robot Center "ARC," you will ensure our robots meet the highest safety standards without compromising performance or flexibility. You will work with System Safety Engineers to develop solutions at the software and hardware levels, define requirements, and communicate the solution vision. Your responsibilities include analyzing technical trade-offs, identifying primary components and subsystems, defining interfaces, establishing Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs), guiding Enablers, and collaborating with Product Management, Program Management, System Safety, and Suppliers to ensure safety requirements and strategies are met. You will be heavily integrated with the Product Teams to develop and validate software and hardware solutions, evaluate technological assumptions, and support strategic initiatives.
