Position Summary:

Asa Process Engineer, you’ll be responsible for equipment re-design while implementing, controlling, and optimizing manufacturing processes and machinery. You’ll work hand in hand with Production and Engineering to improve standards that enable high performing production processes in our St. Joseph facility.Bring your expertise and past experiences to help us define equipment standards, lead process benchmarking and reapplication, and enhance team capabilities in technical troubleshooting and process improvement.

  • Analyze loss data to identify and prioritize continuous improvement projects.
  • Lead v-curve analysis and balanced line flow studies to identify debottlenecking projects.
  • Initiate, lead, and modify process/equipment improvements to increase throughput, reduce scrap, improve quality, and eliminate losses.
  • Drive and mobilize resources to conduct problem solving on systems or equipment through failure modes & effects analysis (FMEA) and other Six Sigma methodology.
  • Participate in design, commissioning, and startup of new equipment/processes.
  • Collaborate with technical experts in other functions and factories to create and replicate optimal solutions/best practices.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the Nestl Continuous Excellence program and its associated TPM Pillars and tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related technical field.
  • 3+ years of project/ process management experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment.

OR

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field.
  • 5+ years of project/ process management experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment.

The approximate pay range for this position is $82,000 to $107,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
