Job summary

Kosmos is seeking a Process Engineer for a large manufacturing plant in Ohio. You will lead process optimization studies, conduct plant trials, and provide technical evaluations for chemical manufacturing processes.

The role includes developing design recommendations, supporting capital projects, and collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to improve reliability and safety. The ideal candidate has a BS in Chemical Engineering and 1–5 years of related experience, with strong

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
1–5 years of Process Engineering or similar engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting chemical manufacturing processes and process equipment preferred.
Ability to apply chemical engineering principles to process troubleshooting, optimization, and design.

Responsibilities

Perform process optimization studies, plant trials, and technical evaluations of existing chemical manufacturing processes.
Develop process design recommendations and engineering scope for process improvements and capital projects.
Perform engineering assignments supporting larger capital, process improvement, and operational initiatives.
Evaluate technical problems and develop practical design recommendations.
Support Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and Process Safety activities.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical documentation, and other project deliverables.
