ZRG Careers seeks a Process Engineer for our steel pipe finishing operations in Muskogee, OK. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements by partnering with production teams to reduce variation and enhance yield.

Responsibilities include designing engineered controls, leading improvement projects, analyzing process data, training operators, and supporting plant trials and capital upgrades. A collaborative culture and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in heavy or steel manufacturing
• Strong background in structured problem-solving, quality, and lean methodologies
• Experience analyzing complex process interactions and sustaining improvement results
• Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, process controls, measurement systems, and data analysis
• Proficiency with MS Office/O365 and modern data platforms
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Design and support engineered controls for safe operations
• Lead daily problem-solving and improvement projects
• Monitor key process variables to reduce variation and improve performance
• Train operators and document standard practices
• Provide technical ownership for pipe finishing areas
• Support plant trials, real-time control, and capital upgrades
• Contribute to process communities and decarbonization efforts
• Aim for KPIs like yield, OEE, and cost per ton
• Develop technical expertise and train teams
