Job summary

Catalent’s Winchester, KY site is seeking a Process Engineer to drive capital projects, continuous improvement, and new product introductions. You will lead efforts to improve safety, efficiency, quality, and compliance, collaborating across teams to deliver results.

The role is onsite, Monday–Friday, with opportunities to impact scale-up and site performance. Qualified candidates have a mechanical/electrical engineering background, strong communication, and experience with GMP environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• Proficient in English verbal and written communication.
• MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of Automation Controls and PLC.
• Apply cGMP principles to project work.
• Knowledge of budgeting and scheduling in project management.
• Strong organization and communication with engineers, customers, and site leadership.
• Ability to document project needs and justify business cases.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize capital projects to improve site performance in safety, cost, and quality.
• Specify and select process, utility, and facility equipment to support site needs.
• Manage asset reliability risks that could impact plant operations.
• Develop KPIs such as uptime, downtime, scrap, and yield.
• Manage continuous improvement project pipeline and prioritize by value.
• Communicate technical progress to Business Development and Project Management.
• Support manufacturing during critical process development for scale-up.
