Job summary

Catalent is seeking a Process Engineer for our Winchester, KY site to lead projects that enhance safety, efficiency, quality, and compliance across the manufacturing chain. You will drive capital projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and support new product introductions in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires collaboration across teams, strong technical skills, and the ability to deliver results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or related field.
• Proficient in English verbal and written communication.
• Understanding of cGMP principles and project budgeting/scheduling.
• 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize capital projects to improve site performance and efficiency in safety, cost, and quality.
• Guide the specification and selection of process, utility, and facility equipment to support site needs.
• Manage asset reliability risks that could impact plant or business operations.
• Develop systems to identify and measure KPIs such as uptime, downtime, scrap, and yield.
• Manage continuous improvement project pipeline and prioritize based on cost, benefit, and effort.
• Provide technical support to production, maintenance management, and technical personnel.
