Job summary

CHS Inc. in Hallock, Minnesota, seeks an Experienced Process Engineer to join the Global Grain & Processing team. You will lead process improvements, support capital projects under $1M, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 2 years of experience in plant, process, or project engineering in related industries.
• Demonstrated knowledge of plant construction and effective management of small to medium-sized projects.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude in equipment troubleshooting.
• PMP Training or Certification and Lean training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan assigned design and development projects by preparing engineering documents, calculations, drawings, material lists, schedules, and instructions.
• Lead project management support and supervision to construction crews, organizing the construction process.
• Initiate requisitions and select equipment for projects and maintenance.
• Coordinate communication among supervisors, engineering teams, facility managers, and outside consultants.
• Champion safety during design and construction phases and report safety/environmental violations.
• Provide technical support for plant utilities systems and participate in maintenance shutdowns.
• Develop documentation on process and electrical equipment and P&IDs.
