Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a manufacturing engineer to design and implement processes for pilot to full production across our two packaging businesses, Menasha Packaging and ORBIS. You will lead projects to improve methods, reduce cycle times, and develop new tools to enhance efficiency and quality.

The role requires collaboration with operations and hourly staff, a focus on Lean practices, and a drive to optimize tooling and processes within a long-standing, multi-site organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related Engineering field (or equivalent experience).
• RJG Master Molder I & II certifications or equivalent training considered.
• Experience may be considered in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing methods aligned with mold and process control principles.
• Manage plant, equipment and process improvement projects.
• Optimize press cycle time and consistency.
• Assist in development and manufacture of new tools to minimize time to market and maximize cost effectiveness.
• Collaborate with operations and hourly personnel to optimize processes.
• Participate in the selection of processes and mold design for new products.
• Promote LEAN and employee engagement to maintain a positive work environment.
• Lead scrap improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
