Job summary

ORBIS Corporation is seeking a manufacturing engineer to design and implement processes and equipment from pilot to full production. Lead projects to improve methods, optimize press cycles and tool development, and collaborate across operations to drive efficiency and cost savings.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and RJG Master Molder I & II certifications, with 1–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related Engineering field is required.
• RJG Training Certifications - Master Molder I & II are preferred.
• Experience to be considered in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing methods consistent with scientific mold and process control principles.
• Manage plant, equipment, and process improvement projects as assigned.
• Optimize press cycle time and process consistency.
• Assist in developing and manufacturing new tools to minimize time to market and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with operations, technical and hourly personnel to optimize processes.
• Participate in process and mold design decisions for new products.
• Promote LEAF and employee engagement activities to maintain a positive work environment.
• Lead scrap improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
