Logical Systems LLC (LSI), a leading provider of engineering and project management services since 1985, is seeking a skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team in the Milwaukee area. Job Summary

Process Engineers work with clients to produce detailed process designs and simulations for new equipment, or to modify existing process designs to correct deficiencies. This work involves the entire project life cycle, including creating job proposals for clients, performing the detailed process design, simulating the process, providing support during project start-up, and validating process performance after start-up.

Reports To: Operations Director

Primary Responsibilities

Develop process mechanical deliverables from concept through construction
Develop equipment specifications, process and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs), equipment lists, line lists, POC lists, and operation specifications
Work with designers to create drawings
Write installation scope documents
Prepare and give technical reviews to clients regarding project-related items
Coordinate with other project disciplines as required
Work with clients, vendors, and suppliers to develop deliverables
Estimate process engineering hours and schedule for proposals
Oversee and QC engineering work of others (e.g., drawings, calculations, designs, etc.)
Support construction to include onsite and remote
Lead checkout/start-up efforts associated with project work
Provide technical leadership and manage process mechanical discipline project members
Coach and mentor others as required
Ability to travel as needed with anticipation of 25-50% annually

Qualifications

Required Experience/Abilities:
Degreed in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical)

Experience utilizing 3D tools such as Navisworks, Plant 3D, VR, and 3D Scans (Preferred)
Engineered Package development including Scope of Work, P&IDs, Specifications & Mechanical Equipment Arrangements (Preferred)
