Job summary

NRD, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to support the development and optimization of manufacturing operations, focusing on metallurgical or chemical processes to improve quality, efficiency and performance.

You will lead process design, collaborate with cross-functional teams, specify equipment, and implement best practices while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across metal processing, casting, machining, and finishing steps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in precision machining, specialty metals, chemical or heavy manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of metallurgical processes and metal forming techniques.

Responsibilities

• Define and optimize manufacturing process flows for metal processing and chemical operations including melting, casting, machining, heat treatment, pressing, sintering and plating.
• Analyze existing industry practices and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, throughput, and cost performance.
• Establish effective process control practices for existing manufacturing process
