Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of metal forming processes and continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop material and processing parameters to meet customer specs.
• Improve process efficiencies and metal working margins.
• Establish improved process monitoring for consistent quality.
• Provide technical support for ongoing operations within area of responsibility.
• Design, specify and implement materials and processes for assigned product areas.
• Develop and trial new processes for sales-driven product requests.
• Train hourly workforce to operate equipment safely and effectively.
• Contribute technical input to hazard studies, capital projects, and investigations.
