Job summary

Seurat Technologies seeks a Process Engineer – Printing to advance a proprietary LPBF-based AM platform. You will craft printing plans, tune process parameters, and operate printers to validate designs, while collaborating with engineers to enhance performance and reliability.

The role involves conducting DOEs, applying materials data, and guiding technicians through post-processing and maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher.
• 3+ years of manufacturing, engineering, or R&D experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create printing plans and files using in-house and commercial AM software.
• Develop printing processes from first principles using data and modeling results.
• Design process to achieve geometric features and surface finish targets.
• Optimize laser, gas flow, and powder spreading parameters.
• Perform Design of Experiments and run printers to produce parts.
• Generate test reports and document results.
• Guide technicians in post-processing of printed parts.
• Collaborate with design engineers to improve printer performance.
