Job summary

Medici Brands seeks a Process and Engineering Specialist to support multiple brands from concept through scale-up, based in New York City. You will drive manufacturing optimization, support supplier networks, and implement DoE-driven improvements to elevate quality and productivity.

Collaborating with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain, you will ensure scalable formulations, site readiness, and efficient tech transfer to across sites, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 4+ years experience in process design, scale-up, and manufacturing optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end process improvement across the manufacturing footprint.
• Manage and improve performance across supplier and co-manufacturing network.
• Optimize production lines, capacity, and resource efficiency.
• Support quality systems, root-cause analysis, and OEE improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with R&D to align on product specifications and feasibility.
• Scale up lab or pilot processes to full production using DoE and data-driven validation.
• Lead technology transfer, documentation, and training across facilities and partners.
• Audit, start up, and validate new manufacturing sites for readiness and compliance.
