Job summary

Medici Brands in New York City is seeking a results-driven Process Engineer to provide across-brand process design, scale-up, and manufacturing optimization. You will work with suppliers, manufacturers, and fulfillment partners to improve quality and productivity, applying first-principles thinking and data-driven insights.

This full-time, in-office role requires 4+ years in process design and a chemistry/engineering background.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years experience in process design, scale-up, and manufacturing optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Bias toward action, experimentation, and continuous learning.
• Humility and curiosity; drive to build iconic brands.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end process improvements across the manufacturing footprint.
• Collaborate with R&D to ensure scalability and production readiness.
• Lead technology transfer and documentation across facilities.
• Audit, start up, and validate new manufacturing sites for readiness.
• Support regulatory, validation, and risk assessment activities (IQ/OQ/PQ, FMEA, HACCP).
