Job summary

Steelscape, part of NS BlueScope Coated Products North America, seeks a Process Engineer for our Rancho Cucamonga, CA facility. You will develop and implement process specs for production lines, and track key metrics daily and monthly to drive improvements.

You’ll lead trials, investigations, and continuous improvement projects, coordinate with area managers and teams, and ensure safety and quality goals are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or manufacturing related field or 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve equipment issues; perform system analysis to determine root cause of failures.
• Investigate quality issues; lead efforts to troubleshoot quality and productivity issues.
• Coordinate with Area Manager, shift supervisors, and associates; provide back-up in manager’s absence and oversee daily tasks and monthly yield reports.
• Coordinate production trials and support self-directed work teams in process improvements.
