Costa Farms in Miami, FL is seeking a Process Engineer to lead the optimization and implementation of projects designed to increase productivity, reduce costs, and maximize profitability across our manufacturing operations.

You will develop best practices, work with equipment designers, ensure documentation is user-friendly in English and Spanish, and collaborate with supervisors and teams to drive continuous improvement with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a specialization in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in process improvement and project management is a plus.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, procedures, and quality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Power BI).
• Bilingual English–Spanish is a plus; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and document manufacturing processes through the entire supply chain.
• Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates and costs.
• Interact with supervisors and workers to explore initiatives and order progress.
• Develop innovative solutions and research new manufacturing technology.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining quality standards.
• Develop process documentation with user-friendly English/Spanish access.
• Support shipping operations to ensure order completion.
• Evaluate and improve processes in manufacturing systems.
• Work with equipment designers to develop cost-effective production processes.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and budgets are followed.
• Collect, record, and transcribe data; perform risk assessments.
