Job summary

Prysmian Group in Windham, CT seeks a Process Engineer to initiate, coordinate and implement manufacturing process improvements using Lean Sigma methodologies, support process troubleshooting and product quality, and coordinate resources to plan, train and drive improvements.

You will be responsible for providing daily support for process improvements, coordinating resources, and delivering timely, effective results while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Polymers).
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Extrusion experience is highly desirable or any other molding background.
• Wire and cable experience is highly desirable.
• Strong record of Lean Sigma Tools implementation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, synthesize, and interrelate information to solve problems and make decisions.
• Scope tasks and organize work into logical steps; set priorities.
• Involve relevant others in planning and decision-making; encourage participation.
• Develop, document, implement, and sustain manufacturing processes using data and tools.
• Root cause analysis and corrective action.
• 70% of time will be in the manufacturing production area.
• Demonstrate strong project management capabilities.
