Job summary

Piping Rock Health Products is seeking a Process Engineer to redesign equipment and optimize packaging/manufacturing processes on-site in Aurora, Ohio. You will collaborate with Production and Engineering to raise efficiency and cut waste while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include leading improvement projects, applying LEAN and Six Sigma methods, and developing KPI/OEE dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of project/process management in manufacturing or packaging.
• Or an Associate degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Willingness to lift 30 lbs, stand 8 hours, and work in a physically challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production loss data to identify and prioritize improvement projects and study bottlenecks.
• Lead process improvements to increase throughput, reduce scrap, and apply LEAN methods.
• Conduct FMEA and Six Sigma-based problem solving on systems or equipment.
• Develop productivity standards and publish KPI and OEE reports.
• Participate in planning and startup of new equipment/processes.
• Create and sustain operating standards to support high-performing production.
