Adler Pelzer Group, a growing global Tier One supplier of acoustic and soft trim, seeks a Process Engineer for manufacturing operations in Eudora, KS. You will maximize throughput, troubleshoot processes, and optimize equipment parameters while leading launches and supporting PPAP/PSO.

The role requires applying Kaizen methods, adhering to QS9000/TS16949 and ISO 14001, and ensuring safety and quality. Occasional travel may be necessary; compensation ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 with full

Qualifications

• Education can be substituted with equivalent experience.
• Licenses & Certifications are preferred but not required.
• Must adhere to QS9000/TS16949 requirements.
• Must adhere to ISO 14001 requirements.
• Must comply with Environmental Health and Safety Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maximize output and efficiencies of mechanical machinery i.e. robotics and hydraulic presses.
• Analyze and troubleshoot ongoing issues to improve process and support production.
• Understand equipment functionality and determine parameters for current and future equipment.
• Analyze workforce utilization, facility layout and production data to optimize resources.
• Continuously improve existing processes to enhance workflow and flow.
• Lead change using measurable standards and time studies to achieve improvements.
• Lead internal plant launches with detailed timelines to meet customer requirements.
• Support PPAP submission and PSO.
• Use Kaizen methods to improve process flow.
• Interact with customers at the assembly plant to ensure specifications are met.
• Research new equipment and processes; collaborate with corporate for feasibility and timing.
• Adhere to plant safety requirements and provide data for production decisions.
• Accept assignments to support team objectives and travel if required.
