Job summary

Standex Electronics is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain efficient production processes, driving cost reductions and quality improvements across the manufacturing floor.

You will lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, analyze data, design for manufacturability with CAD, establish KPIs, update routers and SOPs, and collaborate with design, R&D, maintenance, and operations. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Establish KPIs to measure process performance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with design and R&D to ensure manufacturability of products.
• Review and update routers, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage process improvement projects including budgeting and scheduling.
• Train production teams on new processes and tools.
