Job summary

Winchester Interconnect is seeking a Process Engineer to join the operations team in California. You will collaborate with operators to address troubleshooting, implement lean manufacturing, interpret blueprints, optimize line balancing, and drive efficiency across processes.

You will influence new product launches, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting business development and existing products. The role emphasizes ACE values and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

Industry-related experience.
3+ years of engineering/process engineering or manufacturing processes experience
Bachelor of Science engineering degree – Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical, and material science from an accredited college or university.
Product launch, line balancing, ECN’s, product transfers, blueprint interpretation.
Excellent knowledge of bulk cable and cable assembly design, materials, components, processes, and testing.
Six Sigma Green Belt

Responsibilities

Act as technical lead for new product launches and equipment upgrades, using Lean and Six Sigma to improve line balancing and reduce scrap.
Collaborate across the organization to ensure understanding of actions and encourage input from team members.
Support continuous improvement by training and developing talent and aligning goals with Winchester values.
