Job summary

Finlays Solutions in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Process Engineer to drive operational excellence in liquid processing, CIP and packaging. You will lead process improvements, manage capital projects, and ensure safety and sanitary design standards across sites.

The role requires strong chemical/process engineering expertise, 3–5 years of applicable production experience, and collaboration with diverse teams to scale innovative manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of practical production experience in F&B or related sectors.
• Experience with World Class Manufacturing/Lean methodologies.
• Technical experience with high-speed packaging lines, blending, CIP and related systems.
• Strong safety management and sanitary design knowledge.
• Familiarity with GMP and QA systems; MS Office, AutoCAD and MS Project skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; fluency in English.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve key manufacturing processes using data-driven analysis.
• Assess current and emerging technologies for automation and cost reduction.
• Develop and maintain P&IDs for evolving processes.
• Lead projects from concept to capital approval, installation and implementation.
• Build business cases with Finance including ROI analyses.
• Ensure process safety, occupational safety and sanitary design standards.
• Manage resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with Commercialization, R&D and NPD to scale solutions.
