Job summary

Silfab Solar is seeking a Process Engineer based in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The role includes the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and hands-on troubleshooting for production issues. You will work closely with operations teams to improve efficiency and mentor newer employees.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or equivalent, along with 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing. The position offers competitive wages and benefits, including medical insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of practical experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Work Instructions.
• Conduct root cause analysis on production and maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with the Operations Team for program deliverables.
• Lead kaizen projects to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Support trouble-shooting activities and provide solutions.
