Job summary

Apogee Architectural Metals seeks an experienced Process Engineer IV / Senior to provide enterprise-level leadership for manufacturing processes, setting standards and guiding technical initiatives across sites. The role emphasizes data-driven optimization, process monitoring, and cross-site collaboration.

You will lead large-scale capital projects, mentor younger engineers, and align technical initiatives with business needs, leveraging Six Sigma and PMP/PMO practices where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
• Project management certification (PMP or PMO) preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• 8+ years in process engineering.
• 3+ years of large-scale project management experience.
• 5+ years in the specific process domain.

Provides enterprise-level (multi-site) technical leadership and governance for manufacturing processes. This role sets standards, leads strategic technical initiatives, and ensures long-term capability across sites.

Work Environment/Travel Requirements

• Frequent exposure to manufacturing environment.
• Extended periods of office work on a computer and in team meetings.
• Regional day travel is expected with this role.
• Overnight travel requirements will be variable based on projects and business activities, expected up to 30%

• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
