Charter Wire is a member of the Charter Manufacturing family of companies. **About the Process Engineer Internship:**Provide technical support to operations by spending time on the floor learning processes, troubleshooting, and leading and/or participating on multiple process improvement teams.**Program structure:*** **Schedule:** Part-time (15-20 hours/week) during the academic year and full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer.* **Location:** Milwaukee - Menomonee Valley* **Start Date:** January 2027* **Duration:** Year-round internship**What we're looking for:*** Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.* Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.* Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.* Strong verbal and written communication skills.* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.* Ability to succeed in a team environment.* Ability to handle multiple tasks. **Preferred experience:*** Experience working in a manufacturing environment.* AutoCAD experience.**What you'll focus on:*** Investigate, evaluate and develop project estimates for a variety of operational business challenges at Charter Wire.* Design solutions to resolve challenges throughout the building via AutoCad (SolidWorks) part creation with occasional utilization of 3D printing.* Manage process data collection and analysis as part of project tracking and completion.**What Sets Our Internship Program Apart:** Work on meaningful projects while receiving mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities that help launch your career.
