Job summary

CRB is seeking a Summer Intern to join its integrated Architecture, Engineering, and Construction practice in Rockville, MD. You will work under a mentor to develop project deliverables across pharmaceutical, biotech, food & beverage, and industrial process projects.

You will gain hands-on experience with design and documentation, coordinating with disciplines, and learning from experts across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, and automation engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in HVAC systems strongly preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble), preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Developing project documents (e.g., calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications) for clients in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards.
• Assisting with development of conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team under direction of the project team lead.
• Coordinating with other disciplines and other internal and external team members (e.g., vendors, clients, and contractors).
